Hans Pearson (BBus, LLB), DirectorHans founded Arrowfield Property Group in 2009 following a lengthy and varied career in the Australian property markets.Hans commenced his career as a property valuer before enjoying a legal career over many years in Queensland and Victoria, most recently with Freehills Lawyers in Melbourne.Hans jointly founded the Victorian office of national property development and advisory group CRI in 1999, acting as an advisor for the property portfolios of several listed companies and jointly managing the office across advisory, development and project management services.He then joined the Structured Finance Property group at Westpac Institutional Bank in Sydney from 2001-03. In this role Hans worked as an advisor on property portfolio strategies for major clients, originating and implementing principal investments and structuring unlisted property trusts that were offered to external investors.Hans joined the private funds management group Ray White Invest (RWI) in Sydney in 2003, subsequently relocating with RWI to Brisbane in 2004. Hans progressed to become an Executive Director and Investment Committee and Board Member of RWI, managing the Brisbane office from 2008 through to his resignation to commence Arrowfield Property Group in late 2009. While at RWI, Hans was involved in all aspects of the property origination, investment and delivery process. Hans undertook principal and joint venture investments in passive and development projects across the commercial, industrial, self storage, residential, and airport sectors in Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales. Hans continues to invest with The White Family Office.In 2005, Hans conceived and implemented Australia's only specialist airport property business, Gateway Project Partners. Gateway Project Partners has originated and executed successful property developments at Brisbane and Melbourne Airports, and has completed consultancy services for international airport groups Schiphol Real Estate (NL) and PNG Airports as well as numerous Australian metropolitan and regional airports. In October 2010, Gateway Project Partners merged with Mactaggart & Co Advisory, which was headed by Australia's leading landside masterplanning expert Rob Mactaggart. Gateway Project Partners will now continue its strong growth into the sector within Australia and international markets. Investment We undertake principal investments that we originate and execute. We follow a co-investment model and structure our fees predominantly on a performance basis to align our interests with those of investors.

We are focussed on the industrial, commercial, self storage and airport property sectors on the Eastern Seaboard of Australia, drawing on our relationships with some of the leading participants in these markets to source assets with a point of difference that create lasting value irrespective of market cycles.

Development We participate as the principal or as a joint venture partner in pre-leased development projects, focussing on risk management strategies to create genuine value. We seek to identify projects of unique value and those with points of difference that protect value in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

We have long standing relationships with builders, agents, leading consultants and joint venture partners in Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales.

We are experienced in the sourcing and arranging of debt and equity funding for investment and development projects through a variety of investment vehicles. We draw on existing banking and alternative funding relationships to identify the optimal solution for our investor clients, development partners and consultants.

Consultancy Arrowfield Property Group is well-positioned to provide consultancy services to private and public property owners and local and international wholesale investors seeking access to the Australian property markets.

Identifying portfolio strategies for existing portfolios including the release of non-core capital from existing portfolios through sale and leasebacks;

Managing portfolio acquisitions and disposals by developing clear strategies and the co-ordination of consultancy services including real estate agents, legal, town planners, architects and builders to maximise disposal value and design optimal acquisition strategies;

Value-add through corporate accommodation strategies;

Recent EngagementsSeptember 2011Major New Commercial Development Project, Brisbane AirportArrowfield Property Group has secured development rights over a 1.25 hectare commercial office development site within Airport Village at Brisbane Airport. The site is zoned and fully serviced and ready for immediate development for multiple office buildings from 4,000m2 to a total site building capacity of up to 35,000m2.
